During your stay with us,your room will be professionally cleaned by our services
department staff. Our Environmental Services staff is eager to earn your continued
confidence and satisfaction.

For your safety and quality of care, a bedside nurse calling system is located at the
side of your bed and other locations in your cabin. This system provides you with direct
access to nursing service.If you are unable to use the system provided,please inform your
nurse.

Free television is provided as a courtesy to you during your hospital stay.The control system
operates the television.When using the television,please consider your roommate.

For convenience,there is a telephone located in each hospital room for your use.To obtain assistance
for outside calls dial "0" and the hospital's switchboard operator will assist you.All calls will be
charged to you.Callers can reach you by dialing 8836000 or 8836444 and asking for you by name or
room number.There is no direct room dialing.

The hospital can not assume responsibility for loss of, or damaged to valuables, clothing or
other personal items.It is strongly urged that you leave valuables at home or send them home
with members of your family.If that is not possible,you should deposit such items in the
hospital safe.The hospital cannot otherwise assume responsibility for loss of money and other
valuables left in your room.When not in use,dentures and eyeglasses should be placed in
protective containers.

United Hospital staff members are available to offer you education in specific areas such as:
diabetes,cardiac rehabilitation, pre-op teaching, asthma,exercise, mammography and self
examination etc.Our dietician is available for dietary counselling. These services are
offered to help you achive and maintain an optimal level of wellness. Ask your doctor or nurse
about these and other topics that may be interest to you.

- If a patient gets admitted after any main meal (breakfast / lunch / dinner) then she / he will get snacks (soup / semolina / bread) instead of main meal.
- If a patient is admitted after 10:30am then she / he will be entiled to have lucch and id a patient gets admitted after 04:30pm she / he will be entitled to have dinner.
- One mineral water bottle is complimentary on arrival of patient. Additional bottles will be charged @ Tk. 20/- per bottle.
- Lunch & Dinner are available for the attendants at the basement visitor's cafeteria for Tk. 70/- (each person).
