United Hospital announces launch of Haemodiafiltration & Bio Impedance for dialysis patients on World Kidney Day
Like every year, this year also United Hospital observed World Kidney Day in befitting manner by conducting Free Health Check-up in a health check booth at hospital lobby.
On this occasion, Dr. Shagufa Anwar said, to manage Kidney Disease and its consequent complications United Hospital with its multidisciplinary service is always ready to serve patients. Consultant Nephrology Dr. Tanveer Bin Latif said that, Haemodialysis is not just a machine, it is a treatment management system which requires technical expertise which we are providing very carefully at United Hospital. Associate Consultant Nephrology Dr. Tania Mahbub said, kidney patient needs regular follow up after 2-3 months interval during in dialysis sessions. Haemodialysis Incharge Dr. Dewan Nabidur Rahman said, new thchnologies Haemodiafiltration and Bio Impedance will soon be added for the benefit of long standing dialysis patients.
Throughout the day more than five hundred patients and consultancy for their family members availed free health check from the booth at the hospital lobby.
