  • He obtained his MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College University of Dhaka, in September 1998 and joined BIRDEM General Hospital in July, 2001. He completed his FCPS in General Surgery on 2010 from Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons.
  • He has completed MRCS Ed (Surgery in General) from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in August, 2008 & also the MRCPS from The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow in March, 2009.
  • He also obtained his FRCS from The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow in February 22, 2019. He did a Fellowship in Surgical Gastroenterology HPB Surgery & Liver Transplant from Indraprarstha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, India in 2009 and 2012.He is also a Fellow of American College of Surgeons, USA. He is also Member of International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA), USA, and Asian-Pacific Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (APHPBA), South Korea and Japan, International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS) Also he is a Lifetime Member of Society of Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgeons of Bangladesh (SHBPSB). Moreover, he is one of the key members of the surgical team of first living donor Liver Transplant in Bangladesh
  • He has numerous publications and also involved in different clinical research in General as well as Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic surgical disorders and procedure. He is also an Associate Professor and Consultant at BIRDEM Hospital. He is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching program (Masters in General surgery) in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
