She passed MBBS in 1988 from Dhaka Medical College under University of Dhaka. She did her DGO from Dhaka Medical College in 1998. She also had training in different discipline of Obs & Gynae from DMC. She worked in Mother Care Hospital as a consultant from 2001 to 2016.  Thereafter she worked in Urban Primary Health Care Project as a consultant from 2006 to 2008. She joined in United Hospital as specialist in 2008 and now she is working as a Junior Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology department.
