Dr. Taslima Zaman obtained her MBBS from Dhaka Medical College Hospital before passing her MD in Gastroenterology from BIRDEM Academy, under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

She has extensive training in all modalities of both diagnostic and therapeutic G. I. Endoscopy (including Gastroscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP. Along with that, She completed ten years of training in multiple fields, including internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, nephrology, diabetes, and intensive care medicine at various reputable medical institutions in Bangladesh, including Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, and BIRDEM General Hospital. She had successfully finished different certification courses in Cardiology and Diabetes from BIRDEM Academy.

Additionally, she accomplished a number of advanced courses, including "Colonoscopy Hands-on Training in Collaboration with the British Society of Gastroenterology," "3rd Central China International Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Training Course, China," etc.

She attended various scientific conferences and workshops both domestically and abroad in addition to presenting her papers at conferences like Digestive Disease Week (USA), Asia Pacific Digestive Week (India), World Congress of Gastroenterology (Dubai), and Annual Conference of Bangladesh Gastroenterology Society (Bangladesh). She is an active member of the Bangladesh Gastroenterology Society, the American College of Physicians (ACP), and the American Gastroenterology Association (AGA).

She received the "Prof. A K Azad Khan Best Research Award" for her expertise and contributions to the research and advancement of the field. She has several national and international publications. She serves as a member of the Journal of East West Medical College & Hospital editorial committee and Ethical committee of Ship international hospital as well.

Before joining United Hospital limited she was working as Consultant in Ship International Hospital and also worked as an Associate Professor in East West Medical College & Hospital.

Her previous working places were Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib Memorial KPJ Specialized Hospital ,Uttara adhunik medical college & hospital, Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital and Ibn Sina Diagnostic & Consultation Centre, Uttara.

With 15 years of clinical experience and more than 13,000 minimally invasive endoscopic procedures successfully completed, she is currently serving the "Gastro Liver Center" at United Hospital Limited, where patients are receiving comprehensive management of all types of gastroenterological, liver, and pancreatic diseases.

Her services for endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP procedures are comprehensive, painless, and all-inclusive of diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Her particular areas of interest include Early GI Cancer Screening, Endoscopic ultrasound, Endoscopic Surgery like - ESD, EMR, advancements in ERCP, Endoscopic Bariatric treatment as well as cutting-edge treatments for gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic disorders.
