Dr. Touhidul is a highly accomplished medical professional with a distinguished career in the field of gastroenterology. Graduating with an MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College in 1994.

In 2006, he successfully obtained his FCPS in Medicine from BCPS (Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons), showcasing his dedication to advancing his skills in the field of medical care.

He achieved his FCPS (Medicine) in 2006 from BCPS (Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons). further solidifying their expertise and in 2007 he obtained an MD in Gastroenterology from BSMMU (Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.

He is an expert in doing all modalities of therapeutic endoscopies including ERCP, Balloon enteroscopy and Endo ultrasound. He has been doing all these procedures including all sorts of upper and lower GI endoscopies more than one decade.

Formerly, from October 2009 until December 2013, he held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at Dhaka Medical College and from January 2014 to October 2018, he served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka.

He was the Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Gastroenterology at Sheikh Russel National Gastro Liver Institute & Hospital in Mohakhali, Dhaka from 2018 till now.
